What should I wear when renting a kayak or paddle board?
Light-weight, fast-drying clothing. No jeans allowed. You might want to bring a towel and sunscreen.

Is there a weight limit on rentals?
Yes - kayaks can hold up to 450 pounds. Canoes, up to 600 pounds.  SUP Boards, up to 300 pounds.

What can I bring with me when I go paddling?
Don't bring anything that you don't want to get wet.

What do I do with my valuables?
Leave them in your car or with a friend, OR, we have lockers available for a fee.

Can younger children paddle board?
This is up to the parent and WhatsSup staff. We generally teach children as young as age 12

Do you provide life vests and do I have to wear one if I am a good swimmer?
Yes and Yes!  We provide them and EVERYONE needs to wear a vest. We have PFD's available for anyone weighing 30 pounds and over. If your child is under this weight, you will need to provide your own.

Do you take reservations for groups?
Depending on your group size and rental, we can arrange for a special time and day.  Email us at surf@whatssup.net!

Can I rent a kayak or SUP board and transport it to another site?
Our designated equipment is only rentable at our locations. HOWEVER, you can rent a portable, inflatable paddleboard from us that is easily transportable. Reservations and deposit required.  Email us at surf@whatssup.net!

Can we paddle from one location to another?
Yes! We have a WhatsSup Bothell-Kenmore Combo Adventure. Email us at surf@whatssup.net to make your 48hr reservation (required).

Can we bring our pet with us?
Yes! But only on kayaks and canoes. NO PETS ALLOWED ON SUP BOARDS (claws and paws tend to scratch and ruin soft decks and high-end epoxy boards).

Do you sell new kayaks and SUP boards.
